Volunteering with SSP4ALL is a chance to support an inclusive, welcoming community in South St. Paul. We have open roles including a social media manager, graphic designer, website support, and volunteer coordinator, but all volunteers are welcome, even if you can only help with the occasional event.
Website Support
(Squarespace)(Volunteer Staff)
SSP4All is a community-centered organization grounded in LGBTQIA advocacy, inclusion, and care. We work to build safer, more connected communities through education, outreach, and mutual support, with a strong commitment to dignity, accessibility, and respect.
We are seeking volunteer staff to help maintain and update our website on Squarespace. This role supports our community by ensuring information stays current, accessible, and welcoming.
Location: The volunteer should be able to commute to South St. Paul to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Time commitment: About 2–6 hours per week
Role Expectations:
* Update content, images, and layouts in Squarespace
* Help keep information accurate, clear, and accessible
* Assist with small usability and information architecture improvements
* Collaborate with SSP4All committees in a community-centered environment

Graphic Designer(s)

We are seeking Graphic Designer(s) to create posters and outreach materials that support LGBTQIA community building, education, and events.
Location: The volunteer should be based in South Saint Paul or the Twin Cities and able to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Time commitment: About 2–6 hours per week
Role Expectations:
* Design posters and simple graphics for events, education, and outreach
* Collaborate with SSP4All committees to align visuals with messaging
* Make light revisions based on feedback
* Deliver finished designs in agreed-upon formats

Social Media Manager(s)

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to help grow and sustain our online presence. This role supports our community by sharing information, promoting events, and helping SSP4All show up online in ways that are welcoming, clear, and aligned with our values.
Location: The volunteer should be able to commute to South St. Paul to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Time commitment: About 2–6 hours per week
Role Expectations:
* Create, schedule, and post content across SSP4All social media platforms
* Promote events, including Pride and community gatherings
* Collaborate with committees to share updates, campaigns, and calls to action
* Respond to messages and comments in a respectful, values-aligned way
* Help maintain a consistent, inclusive voice and visual style
* Support accessibility best practices, including alt text and clear language

We are seeking a volunteer to help recruit, onboard, and support our volunteers. This role strengthens our community by fostering engagement, matching volunteers to roles, and creating a welcoming and inclusive volunteer experience.
Location: The volunteer should be able to commute to South St. Paul to attend occasional in-person meetings.
Time commitment: About 2–6 hours per week
Role Expectations:
* Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers
* Match volunteers to roles that fit their skills and interests
* Serve as the primary contact for volunteer questions and check-ins
